7 | Under the Theme “Sustainable Talent Growth” the Third “Financial Academy Forum” was launched The third edition of the Financial Academy Forum 2024 was launched under the slogan "Sustainable Talent Growth", with the attendance of more than 3,000 participants from the financial sector, 16 strategic partners and leading institutions. The forum witnessed dialogue sessions on leadership in the age of technology and innovation, excellence in times of rapid changes, artificial intelligence as a factor in improving productivity, and the role of training and talent development to achieve sustainability. It included workshops on integrating artificial intelligence into talent development and training, improving the trainee experience using training impact measurement, and achieving institutional sustainability by integrating talent development with environmental, social, and governmental standards (ESG). The forum represents a vital gathering and an exceptional meeting for decision- makers and those interested in the financial sector, as it is attended by senior government officials and CEOs, and a group of influential figures in the financial sector from researchers, academics, experts and practitioners, in addition to specialists in financial, investment, banking, finance and insurance affairs locally and internationally; with the aim of exchanging knowledge and expertise, and reviewing best practices in training and developing human capabilities in the age of technology and innovation. Conclusion of the Financial Market Institutions Forum 2024 The Capital Market Institutions Committee concluded the 2024 Capital Market Institutions Forum under the theme "The Capital Market: Toward a Sustainable Future." The attendees discussed in the first panel of the forum entitled “Structuring Capital Market Infrastructure,” the growth opportunities in the capital market institutions sector in light of the digital transformation, and the role of the Capital Market Authority in keeping pace with global capital market developments. The importance of auditing in enhancing transparency and confidence in the market, and preparing human capital was also addressed. The second session focused on growth opportunities in debt markets, innovation in digital asset management, foreign investor access, and asset management strategies. Four workshops were also held on sustainable financing, public offering, studying human capital in capital market institutions, and regulatory improvements in debt instruments. The forum concluded its work with a panel discussion with H.E. the Chairman of the Capital Market Authority, which included discussions about the most important developments in the capital market institutions sector, and the most prominent legislative and regulatory updates in the capital market. The Capital Market Authority Calls for Public Consultation on the Draft to Develop the Provisions for Offering Private and Foreign Funds to Retail Clients The Capital Market Authority (“CMA") called upon relevant and interested persons participating in the capital market to share their feedback on the Draft Amendments of Investment Funds Regulations for Public Consultation for a period of fifteen (15) days.
